I am a teacher by profession, but have recently “broadened” my profession to include photography. Having turned the corner from being a photo enthusiast for over 10 years, I am currently working with and for a local professional and his wife. They have taken me on as their “Second Photographer” for wedding shoots, and are training me to become “First Photographer”. I can already see the exciting improvements in my photography from this short time of apprenticeship.
As a freelance photographer, I call my ownn business “Sallee Photograpy”, and have been hired by my own clients for youth camps, senior pictures, weddings, and family portraits at the beach.
Other things I love, besides photography, are ceramics, bicycling, the beach, and the children in my life who belong to my friends and siblings. I also love teaching. Having spent 13 years in middle school and high school art and yearbook classrooms, I have been inspired as I interact with the young people who come through those classroom doors. I love trying to be a positive influence in their lives in any way I can.
Thanks for visiting my blog…I hope it inspires you!

Your photos of my son playing guitar truly captured his personality. He is driven by, and made happy by one thing (his music). The photos were, in the words of my boss, “alive with the essence of Caleb.” Thank you so much.

This is the second year you have photographed my son Caleb playing guitar in Summer Band. He is 15 now, and when he looked at his pictures he said, “When I get famous and go on tour, I’m hiring her to be my official band photographer. Her pictures are the best I’ve ever seen!” Hope you like to travel!
Thanks again,
